Get ready for Demo Reel filming!

On Friday, February 28th: We will be filming on the Hospital set and the Hacker set.

Below is a list of options that you can choose from when registering at the bottom of this page.

The versatility of all our sets gives you the option to play several roles to fit a number of types that you want to showcase in your Demo Reel!

How the process works:

• You register for one of the listed sets that are available on our website.

• Email us at StudioAssistant@houdeschoolofacting.com with your headshot or updated picture and an optional 30 second video about yourself and acting experience. We strongly encourage you to send a video to help us create a scene that captures your essence.

• We’ll send you the sides a week before filming.

• You arrive to set memorized, with a few costume choices, and hair and makeup camera ready.

• You film, with acting coach Jessica Houde-Morris on set to help guide you.

• We edit the footage down to a 30 second clip, showcasing your acting.

• In 3-4 weeks you will receive the clip to use in your acting demo reel.

There are limited spots available to ensure everyone gets the time they need.The spots sell out quickly because they are a great way to showcase what you can do in common procedural roles.

About Our Demo Clips

• All clips are shot in 4K and delivered in both 4K and HD format.

• All clips are custom written to your typecast and focus solely on you.

• The length of all clips is 30 seconds.

• Your scene partner will be paired for you.

• Shooting multiple clips per day is encouraged 

• The cost, per clip, is $225.

Feel free to choose multiple roles and knock out several clips in a day. We’ve had many students play multiple roles in one day to be able to make the most of their time!
