The Business of Acting is an online class designed to help students navigate the logistics of the industry and the “business” side of “show business”. Each class will operate as a place for students to ask questions about the industry. From formatting a resume, to signing with an agency, to understanding industry terms and much more.
Here’s a little more about Kellen Boyle:
Kellen is a working actor in Atlanta, GA. He studied acting at Marietta College and Houde School of Acting. Kellen has been involved in major motion pictures, including: Family Plan, working with Mark Wahlberg, The Marksman, starring Liam Neeson, Chick Fight, starring Alec Baldwin and Malin Akerman and many others.
He's also in TV shows including MacGyver, Florida Man, Doom Patrol, Swagger Dead Silent and others.
He also has vast experience in Voice Over work.
Your zoom link will be sent out by the first of the month. Please flag/star the email or copy and paste the links to your notes.
You do not need to attend every class however, there are no make-up classes for any class missed.
Please arrive on time for each class or you may not be able to get into the room as our teachers are busy teaching.
Houde School of Acting does not offer refunds if you drop/cancel a class or workshop. If you drop a class no later than a full week before the first day of class we will offer a full credit for the following month of class.
Due to the format of the classes, there are no make-up classes. We encourage you to attend as many classes as possible but don't worry if you miss a class. You can pick up your studies where you left off in your last class.
