This Purchase Includes 1 Small Group Meisner Online Class Per Week For 4 Weeks. (4 Classes)

• Your zoom link will be sent out by the first of the month. Please flag/star the email or copy and paste the links to your notes.

• You do not need to attend every class however, there are no make-up classes for any class missed.

• Please arrive on time for each class or you may not be able to get into the room as our teachers are busy teaching.

This package offers our Online Meisner Technique training but with a much smaller group. Each class will be taught by Jessica Houde-Morris and have two Meisner-trained actors to work with you, guiding and demonstrating the stages of the Meisner Technique.

As the world continues to change, the acting world is of course, changing with it. Auditions are now online and callbacks are online as well. A virtual callback?! This is new territory for all actors from beginners to veterans. How can we connect with our partner across a computer screen?

With that in mind, we have created a new online class called Meisner Online, a class where you will learn and practice how to connect, read behavior and be present online just like you do in-person.

While the Meisner Technique is typically an in-person, face to face technique, we have created a way to do this remotely online. 

Thanks to technology like zoom and zoom’s breakout rooms, we will simulate an in-person Meisner class completely online giving you the ability to be hypersensitive in an online setting. This also allows actors to continue honing their acting craft while safely in the comfort of their own home.

This weekly class will be taught by Meisner Technique expert, and founder of Houde School of Acting, Jessica Houde-Morris.

Bonus Class

With the purchase of this class you will also receive weekly Studio Hour sessions.

Studio Hour sessions are on Wednesdays from 5-7 PM (EST). This time is set aside for additional practice and for students to ask any questions that require personal attention (such as developing Activities, or practicing Emotional Preparation).

Houde School of Acting does not offer refunds if you drop/cancel a class or workshop. If you drop a class no later than a full week before the first day of class we will offer a full credit for the following month of class.

Due to the format of the classes, there are no make-up classes. We encourage you to attend as many classes as possible but don't worry if you miss a class. You can pick up your studies where you left off in your last class.
